Genuine shearling is a natural insulator — the dense wool fibres trap air and maintain body temperature in a way that synthetic fills cannot replicate. Unlike down, shearling retains its warmth when damp. Unlike synthetic pile, it doesn't compress permanently with repeated wear. A quality shearling piece, properly cared for, will last decades.

Care & Longevity

Shake out after every wear. If wet, dry naturally stuffed with newspaper — never use a dryer or direct heat. Brush the wool interior with a soft-bristle brush to prevent matting. Condition the leather exterior twice a year. Store on a wide hanger with space to breathe — never in a plastic garment bag.
